Securitize Expands to Sei Blockchain with Apollo’s $112M Tokenized Credit Fund
Securitize, a leading platform for tokenizing real-world assets, has announced its expansion to the SEI blockchain. The debut offering is Apollo’s $112 million tokenized credit fund (ACRED), marking the first introduction of tokenized private credit on Sei. The fund acts as a feeder into Apollo’s broader private credit strategy, encompassing corporate lending, asset-backed deals, and dislocated credit.
Qualified investors can participate in ACRED, with tokens made interoperable across blockchains via Wormhole, enhancing liquidity and cross-chain flexibility. This MOVE underscores a growing trend in financial markets, where traditional instruments are increasingly represented on blockchain systems to streamline settlements and reduce intermediary dependencies. The real-world asset market now exceeds $30 billion, according to RWA.xyz.
"ACRED’s expansion to Sei demonstrates how blockchain infrastructure can unlock new avenues for investor participation in private credit and accelerate digital innovation," said Christine Moy, Apollo’s head of digital assets. Securitize, which has already tokenized over $3 billion in assets, plans to bring additional funds to Sei in the NEAR future.
